How to: Recolor a picture in a slide.
Solution:
Select the picture, and select 'Recolor...' from the 'Tools' menu.
NOTE: To cancel a color change, clear the check box in the 'Original' list.
1) Select the picture to recolor.
2) Select the 'Tools' menu and select 'Recolor...'. (The 'Recolor Picture' dialog box appears.)
NOTE: If the selected picture contains more than 64 colors, PowerPoint displays the warning: ONLY the first 64 colors are available in the Recolor Picture dialog box.
3) To change a color:
a) Select the 'Colors' radio button from the 'Change' group.

b) In the 'Original' list, select the check box next to the color to change.

NOTE: Only six colors fit in the list at one time. Scroll to select from additional colors.
c) Select the desired color from the drop-down list color palette in the 'New' column, in the row selected.

NOTE: To select from more colors, select 'Other Color...' from the drop-down list box palette. Select a color from the 'Colors' dialog box and click 'OK'.
d) Repeat steps 3)b) through 3)c) for each additional color being changed.
4) To change a fill color:
a) Select the 'Fills' radio button from the 'Change' group.

NOTE: If the 'Fills' radio button is dimmed, there are no fill colors in the picture.
b) In the 'Original' list, select the check box next to the color being changed.

c) Select the desired color from the drop-down list box color palette in the 'New' list, in the row selected.

5) Click 'OK' to accept the changes to the picture's color scheme.
